This is not permanent. Like Smugbug said, Black is indeed beautiful. So I might revert back to my original template in a few days. This is just to humour the perpendicular pronoun :p
Thanks for the link, Jax :) Just another doubt, when i click on any of my archives, the template shifts to my old one. Why does that happen? Do i need to change the stylesheet at some place???

After changing template did you click Republish Indexes Only? Try the other option. Might work. Republish entire blog I think its called.
For a moment I was wondering if I'd typed the correct URL :) Template change-aa?? Nee nadathu ma :)
A few observations which mite be useful
- There seems to be a problem with the permalink. It gives an error "Page not found"
- Main page shows 2 comments, but there isn't any link associated with it. I need to go to "Post a comment" section to view the comments
