"
Sex and The City" Miranda's view on Hansel & Gretel:
This woman goes ahead and builds her dream house and these brats come
out of nowhere and start eating it up.
How often have we misunderstood someone just because they were in the wrong place with the right mind? One of my fave misunderstood hero is
Ravana. Like i told this
smart woman, here is this man who is leading a happy life and then as fate would have it, runs into a beautiful woman who is his soul mate in every aspect. Pity both he and she were already married. So we name him a villain just coz he found Sita right for him?
Of course all that kidnapping, shidnapping wasn't right at all but then haven't we ever heard of
"Meeting the woman of your life and then running into her handsome husband" before? That was Ravana's situation. Had he known Sita existed in life maybe he wouldn't have married at all or would have taken that flight across wilderness much sooner.
Now Rama is far from an ideal hero. All his goodness came to naught the moment he doubted his wife and asked her to walk through fire to prove her innocence -- Not to him but to the world. What? A husband who runs his family based on market trends isn't really 'God' material but we never let that bother us too much.
Having grown accustomed to viewing life in shades of black & white, we rarely see the yellows and the greys...and lost in those unseen colours are a million heroes waiting for their songs to be sung.
